The summer real estate market continues to favor sellers, but signs indicate change could be coming. There are more condo listings and those listings are lingering on the market a bit longer than in previous months. Single-family homes from Arlington to Gainesville are getting multiple offers in just about all price ranges if the homes are well presented and well priced.
Interest rates are currently below 3%, which is really motivating buyers. Buying can actually be more affordable than renting in some jurisdictions, if you have a down payment. Many people are choosing to buy and sell at the same time. Yes, it’s challenging, but I’m doing it with several clients and it absolutely can be done if you’re highly motivated!
